Position: Vice-Chancellor

This key leadership role is responsible for the University’s financial strategy, management, and compliance, ensuring transparency, accountability, and the efficient utilization of resources.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Postgraduate degree in a business discipline (preferably Accounting or Finance) or MBA.
  • Minimum two first divisions/classes or CGPA of 3.5/4.0 in academic examinations.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience teaching a business subject as a Professor.
  • Experience in financial management in higher education is an asset.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of the University’s financial strategy.
  • Prepare, monitor, and control the Annual Budget.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international accounting standards and laws.
  • Oversee financial planning, resource mobilization, and risk management.
  • Supervise all financial and accounting operations, including audits and tax matters.
  • Report on financial status to the Vice-Chancellor and the Board of Trustees.

Position: Pro-Vice Chancellor

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to collaborate with the Vice-Chancellor in overseeing the academic and administrative matters of the University, promoting research, and leading curriculum development.

Basic Requirements

  • A Ph.D. degree from an accomplished university with a distinguished academic record.
  • A minimum of 10 years of teaching experience at a recognized university.
  • A minimum of 15 years of combined experience in teaching, research, and academic/administrative leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee academic and administrative matters in collaboration with the VC.
  • Inspire and support faculty in innovative and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Promote a robust research culture with an emphasis on global impact.
  • Provide strategic leadership in the design and revision of curricula.
  • Contribute to enhancing the international visibility and ranking of the University.
  • Foster global academic partnerships and exchange programs.
