Grameen University invites applications from exceptional academic leaders to serve as the Founding Treasurer.

Qualifications:

• 01. Postgraduate degree, preferably a Ph.D. from a globally recognized university, in Accounting, Finance, MBA, or a related business discipline. Candidates with non‑business academic backgrounds may be considered if they have any relevant and substantial practical experience in financial management positions.
• 02. Minimum two first divisions/ classes in board/ university examinations of which at least one should be at the undergraduate/Master’s level or minimum CGPA of 3.5 (out of 4.0) in above-mentioned examinations or equivalent.
• 03. Proven experience in financial management, corporate governance, and administrative responsibilities, particularly in higher education institutions, will be considered an asset.

Experience:
01. Minimum 15 years of teaching experience as a Professor in public/private universities or equivalent organizations is required. Relevant financial management experience may be considered within this 15 year period.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• 01. Providing leadership in developing and implementing the University’s overall financial strategy.
• 02. Preparing, monitoring, and controlling the Annual Budget in line with the University’s strategic goals.
• 03. Ensuring compliance with national and international accounting standards, relevant laws, and University financial policies.
• 04. Overseeing financial planning, resource mobilization, and risk management.
• 05. Supervising all financial and accounting operations including audits, tax matters, and investment activities.
• 06. Ensuring transparency, accountability, and efficient utilization of University resources.
• 07. Reporting regularly to the Vice Chancellor and the Board of Trustees on the financial status and forecasts.
