Engr. Md. Jahirul Islam Khan is a seasoned engineering and project management professional with over 22 years of expertise in infrastructure development, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement. He currently serves as Managing Director of Grameen Construction Limited, overseeing the planning, design and execution of major development projects across the Grameen Group. In parallel, he holds leadership positions as General Manager of Grameen Telecom Trust, Board Director of Grameen Distribution Limited, and active member of key strategic committees, including the Advisory, Technical, and Management Committees of Samajik Hospital, Medical College & Health Research Institute. He also serves as Member Secretary of the Project Implementation Assisting Committee of the Group.

Renowned for driving flagship infrastructure initiatives, Engr. Khan has successfully led landmark projects such as the 13-storied Telecom Bhaban (USD 22M), the Samajik Convention Centre (USD 6M, 2,500-seat capacity), and the Grameen Caledonian College of Nursing (USD 15M, 900-seat facility). Currently, he is spearheading transformative mega projects valued at nearly USD 350M, including the 700-bed Samajik Hospital, Samajik Medical College (500 seats), Samajik Health Technology Institute, and the second phase of the Samajik Convention Centre with Hospitality Management Institute.

Academically, he holds a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering and an MBA in MIS. He is also a Life Fellow of The Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB).
