Research is at the heart of Grameen University’s mission to create knowledge that addresses real-world challenges and contributes to sustainable development. Guided by the values of innovation, inclusivity, and social responsibility, the University fosters a culture of inquiry where faculty, students, and external partners work together to advance knowledge across disciplines.
Biomedical Research
Genomic Medicine: Investigating the role of genetics in health and disease to personalize medical treatments.
Clinical Trials
Conducting controlled experiments to the safety and efficacy of new medical drugs, or interventions.
Public Health Research
Addressing population-level health issues, studying epidemiology, preventive measures, and health policy.

Research Centers & Institutes
Grameen University has established specialized research centers and institutes that serve as hubs for innovation, knowledge generation, and applied research:
1. Center for Social Business & Entrepreneurship
Focuses on research and innovation in social business models.
Promotes entrepreneurship education and incubation support for students. Collaborates with Grameen enterprises to scale sustainable solutions.
2. Center for Sustainable Agriculture & Food Security Conducts research on climate-resilient farming, biotechnology, and food systems. Works with rural communities to promote sustainable agricultural practices. Develops technologies to ensure food security in line with SDGs.
3. Center for ICT & Innovation Research in computer science, AI, machine learning, and digital transformation. Provides training in ICT-based solutions for governance, healthcare, and education. Supports industry collaboration for digital entrepreneurship.
4. Center for Public Policy & Governance Studies governance, law, and policy frameworks.
Provides policy recommendations for government and development agencies. Organizes seminars, training programs, and publications on governance challenges.
5. Center for Health & Community Development (Proposed) Focus on public health research, epidemiology, and community healthcare models. Integration of technology and social innovation for better healthcare delivery.
Plans to collaborate with national and international public health organizations. Research Support & Collaboration Internal research grants for faculty and student projects. Partnerships with national and international universities. Engagement with NGOs, government agencies, and private sector stakeholders.Publication support through University journals, working papers, and conferences.
